Clubs & Activities
Band
Fifth grade students learn to play instruments like the flute, clarinet, trumpet and more! They practice twice a week during the day with the band teacher and attend evening events throughout the year.
Battle of the Brains
Second grade students work together to design an exhibit for Science City. This club is sponsored by a local engineering firm and meets after school once a week in September through November.
Chess Club
Third through fifth graders learn and play the game of chess to build critical thinking, concentration and problem-solving skills. They meet after school in October and November.
Choir
Choir is for fourth and fifth graders who sing together under the guidance of a music teacher. They learn basic vocal techniques and how to sing in harmony. They practice before school twice a week and have evening performances throughout the year.
Food Drive
In this schoolwide event, students and families donate non-perishable food items in November to help local families in need during the holiday season.
Math Wings
Math Wings is an enrichment club designed to help fourth and fifth grade students develop their problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and teamwork through engaging math activities. Students meet after school once a week from September through April.
Running Club
This fitness club encourages first through fifth graders to stay active, build endurance and develop healthy habits through running. They meet after school once a week in September and October.
Safety Patrol
Our before-school student leadership club assists during arrival to keep students safe. Fifth graders are eligible to participate in September through May.
Strings
Strings is for fifth grade students who want to learn to play instruments such as violin, viola, cello and more. They rehearse together under the direction of our orchestra teacher, learning basic music skills. Classes take place during the day, twice a week, and evening performances several times throughout the year.
